SHELBURNE FALLS, Mass. (WWLP) – A cold Monday night and a mild Tuesday made for a perfect day of maple sugaring at Goulds Sugar Shack in Shelburne Falls.
The crew at Goulds has been making maple syrup for 60 seasons. Bill Wall has been a part of the tedious process for 35 years.
“I like coming in and helping out the family, and meeting the people, I just enjoy doing it,” Wall said. “If you see the smoke coming out of the smoke stacks, stop in!”
