Bill Cosby leaves Philadelphia to spend time with wife after release from prison

Franklin County

SHELBURNE, Mass. (WWLP) – Retired stand-up comedian, actor, and author Bill Cosby left his Pennsylvania home Thursday to be reunited with his wife in western Massachusetts, according to NBC News

Cosby, 83, left his home in Elkins Park, Philadelphia about 12:40 p.m. The house was completely dark Thursday night with little to no activity or signs of anyone being on the property.

“America’s Dad” plans to spend the next three weeks with his wife, Camille Cosby, at their Franklin County home. The two haven’t seen each other since he went to prison in September 2018.

Cosby was released from prison after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court vacated his sexual assault conviction Wednesday. He was convicted of drugging and assaulting a woman in 2004 and was serving a three-to-10-year sentence. Multiple other women have also made assault accusations against Cosby.
