The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office has identified the man killed in a one-car accident in Deerfield early Monday morning.
Northwestern DA spokesperson Mary Carey told 22News 36 year-old Robert C. Eaton, of Turners Falls, died in the crash on Lower Road. She said the car caught fire after colliding with a telephone pole.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Deerfield Police, the Massachusetts State Police Detectives Unit attached to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
