Deerfield PD reminding residents to lock doors, windows after break-in

Deerfield police are reminding residents to lock their house doors and windows after a reported break-in on Wells Street Tuesday night.

According to Deerfield Police, a homeowner on Wells Street heard a noise just before 11:00 p.m., and found a man had entered their home through an unlocked window.

The suspect ran away when confronted, and could not be located by police.

Anyone who thinks they saw something out of the ordinary Tuesday night in the Old Deerfield Village neighborhood is asked to call police at 413-665-2606.
