An important reminder from police about why you need to clear your car of snow and ice before you drive.
The Sunderland Police Chief was called to Route 116 around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, where a FedEx truck was damaged by ice from another vehicle.
The two trucks were headed in opposite directions when ice flew off a truck and smashed the windshield of the FedEx van.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call the Sunderland Police Department.
