CHARLEMONT, Mass. (WWLP) – Crews were called to a fire on Route 2 in Charlemont Monday morning.
According to Colrain Firefighters’ Association, at 4:51 a.m. Engine 2 from Colrain was called to the report of the fire and helped crews in Charlemont to contain a fire with additional tankers to stop the fire from spreading to multiple buildings. Engine 3 from Colrain assisted with tanker shuttle operations at the location.
The Leyden Fire Department crews covered the Colrain fire station during the fire.
