Greenfield businesses are encouraging people to shop local this season and with free parking options available this month, Greenfield merchants want you to stop in.

Many of them told 22News there’s a steady flow of business year-round, but they do see an uptick in sales as we get closer to Christmas.

“Greenfield is incredible,” Greenfield Games owner Seth Lustig said. “They really put their money where their mouth is when they talk about shopping locally. It’s a really connected community.”

Bill Baker, the owner of Baker Office Supply, told 22News, “So far business has been great. People have been coming in, making lots of purchases. It’s been very steady. We’re very happy.”

Baker’s store in downtown Greenfield dates back to 1936 and this year, Greenfield Games celebrates 18-years on Main Street.

Greenfield is encouraging you to shop in their downtown district. The available free parking options can be found on the City of Greenfield’s website.
