Heat back on at Gill Elementary, students to resume normal classes Thursday

Students will be able to return to their school on Thursday after it unexpectedly closed for several days due to flooding in the building

Gill Elementary School told 22News the heat inside the building is back on and they “will be back at home,” to their school building located at 48 Boyle Road. 

Flooding in the school’s basement forced them to close for three days.  

Due to the flooding, students attended classes in Montague on Tuesday and according to school officials, the closure was expected to last for several days.
