Franklin County’s largest employer held a job fair Tuesday.
Yankee Candle in Deerfield said they are looking to hire people for more than 150 seasonal and part-time positions.
Monday’s job fair was held at the Annex building, next to Yankee Candle Village. Candidates filled out applications and then had on the spot interviews. Yankee Candle said they have been having a tough time filling all of their positions.
“The market is much tougher especially in our location so we definitely want to stress we have a great work environment, an employee discount,” said Brittany Bryan, corporate recruiting manager at Yankee Candle.
Open full-time positions (first, second, and third shift) included:
- Order processors
- Warehouse workers
- Gift assemblers
- Customer service reps
- Fundraising order processing clerks
- Retail restockers
Open part-time positions (first shift) include:
- Weekend order processors
- Warehouse workers
- Sales associates
Bryan said some of the jobs start as soon as next month. Yankee Candle will have two more job fairs scheduled for this summer.
Their next job fair is July 17.
