ORANGE, Mass. (WWLP) – A portion of South Main Street in Orange was closed after a motor vehicle crash Sunday morning.
According to a statement by the Orange Fire Department, the Hayden Street area of South Main Street in Orange was closed for 10 hours Sunday. At around 6:30 a.m., authorities report the closure was caused by a motor vehicle accident involving several broken utility poles.
Crews from National Grid were called to clear debris and powerlines from the roadway, access to South Main Street from Gay Street to Route 2 were closed at around 7:45 a.m. As of 4:30 p.m., South Main Street reopened.
No information on the state of the driver or cause of the accident has been released.
