WEB EXTRA: First marijuana customers at Patriot Care in Greenfield

Franklin County
Greenfield Mayor William Martin first to make recreational marijuana purchase at Patriot Care

22News interviewed the first few customers at the first recreational marijuana store in Greenfield. The pot shop opened its doors on Tuesday.

The adult-use sales will make the dispensary the first shop to sell recreational marijuana in Franklin County.

Customers over the age of 21 will be able to park a short distance away in a parking lot behind 46 Wells Street and walk to the dispensary on 7 Legion Avenue. The website said the lot will be marked by clear signs and/or security by the entrance.

The location was approved to sell recreational marijuana on March 20. The Patriot Care location in Lowell began selling adult-use pot on March 16.
