“I love it, bring it on!” said Phil Nolan of Ashfield.
Snow fell in the hills of western Franklin County Thursday night, leaving a light blanket of white on the ground Friday morning.
“Happy spring, this is great. It’s actually not as much snow we usually get. A few years ago we got like two feet April first,” added Nolan.
And though Nolan doesn’t mind the snow, he said most people are ready for warmer weather.
Just over an inch of snow fell in Buckland, adding some early spring winter season work for a farm worker Friday morning.
“You know this morning it just adds one more thing to the list that we got to do. We’re trying to get ready for planting and stuff, I don’t know it’s weird,” said Chris Urgiel, a laborer at Maple Row Farm.
