GEL Nominee Trust of Springfield has claimed the second $10 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Gold” instant game.

The trust was represented by trustee Michael Siddall.

The cash option of the prize was chosen, and the trust received a one-time payment of $6,500,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Union Mart located at 457 Granby Road in Chicopee. The store will receive a $50,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

Springfield  Attorney Michael Siddall picked up the jackpot money on behalf of the trust. The manager said this is the store’s second major winner after a woman won $1 million there back in October.

“What’s going on here, everybody is asking that,” said Muhammad Yousaf-Khalit. “A million, and then again ten million. It’s a good New Year for us and the winner too. I am very happy. We are excited.”

The store will pick up a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Two additional $10 million prizes and thirteen $1 million prizes are still available in the “$10,000,000 Gold” $20 instant game.
