Students at the Litwin School in Chicopee got a lesson in broadcasting on Monday.
22News Morning anchor Tamara Sacharczyk and Storm Team Meteorologist Kelly Reardon visited third-graders as part of the school’s career week.
The purpose is to show the children the importance of working hard in school now, as it will affect their future careers.
Guidance Counselor Tama Land told 22News, “We’re hoping that by students hearing about different jobs, and from different colleges, they can really see how math, reading and writing relate to future careers.”
The school was visited by not only our own reporters, but the mayor, doctors, police and even the Chicopee school superintendent.
