Some moms in Holyoke had a different reason to dress up this Halloween weekend as Friday night was ladies night.
Hundreds gathered at the Delaney House for the 5th annual Western Mass. Mom Prom. Over 40 cancer survivors received a free ticket to the event.
They were treated to free dresses, free hair and makeup services and a free professional portrait. These services were also available to all other guests, for a small fee.
“It’s just a night for us all to get together and support those women who are in the battle of their life and make them feel beautiful and loved by their sisters,” Tammy Glynn, chairwoman of the event told 22News.
All proceed’s from Friday night’s event will be donated to Rays of Hope as well as the American Cancer Society.
