The Springfield Regional Chamber held their annual government reception Thursday night.
Business people and politicians came together at the carriage house in West Springfield.
The reception has been going on for decades, as a way to bring together legislators and business leaders in a more casual setting.
Following elections earlier this month, the reception comes at the perfect time.
Nancy Creed, the president of the Springfield Regional Chamber told 22News, “It’s perfect timing. We’ve already reached out to the newly elected officials, so now it’s a chance to put a face to the name, and really build that relationship. Which is really important on Beacon Hill.”
Politicians from the state and local level all made it out to the reception.
