It was an Irish celebration with a German accent Friday night at The Fort in Springfield.
The Fort and Student Prince Care were one of the stops in Friday night’s Annual Mummers Pub Crawl.
It was billed as a ‘Toast to the Irish’ with German steins, all part of the celebration leading up to St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Holyoke.
Ken Tyburski is a first timer and was urged to come by his friends, “They said this is the most fun you’re ever gonna have! And we’re doing the race tomorrow so they said we should go to the pub crawl before that. Here we are!”
In addition to The Fort, The Mummers Pub Crawl made stops as UNO’s, Plan B, Theodore’s and MGM Springfield.
