Dozens of Springfield children spent their Sunday morning at the basketball court for the second annual “We All We Got 413” basketball youth clinic.
The clinic was free for boys and girls of all ages. The clinic had instructional drills and scrimmages throughout the day.
Program Director Willie Cuffie told 22News the clinic gives kids a safe and fun thing to do in the summer. “I was a child once, and I know that you have a lot of free time on your hands with school being out. Basketball is a sport that brings everyone together and occupies your time, and keeps you out of the nonsense that’s going on.”
Those who participated also received free food, drinks and ice cream as well.
