Baystate Home Health hosted its 15th annual Wine and Beer Tasting at the Tekoa Country Club Friday night.
The organization provides health and hospice services for patients in the comfort of their own home. Helping those with illnesses, recovering from surgery, or in need of end-of-life care.
Friday night’s event featured wine from around the world, and numerous beers on tap. Baystate Home Health said events like this help them continue to serve the community.
Marty Degen of Baystate Home Health, told 22News, “One of our missions is really to provide in a home care setting, create more independence, and have people recover in their own homes where it is more comfortable for them to do so. And in hospice, provide that setting through the end of life”
Local volunteers, some of the home health workers themselves, helped pour samples for the tastings at Friday night’s event.
