SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) – A Forest Park employee found a body floating in the water in Porter Lake Sunday morning
Springfield Fire spokesman Dennis Leger told 22News crews recovered the body at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
According to Springfield Police spokesman Ryan Walsh, the body has been sent to the Medical Examiner for identification and an autopsy.
Walsh said the circumstances of death do not seem suspicious at this time.
