A big welcome home for season 14 winner of The Voice Brynn Cartelli.
From Los Angeles to Longmeadow. Just one week off her win on NBC’s The Voice, Brynn Cartelli is back in her hometown of Longmeadow and performing for the people who supported her through this entire journey.
The 15-year-old did a tour of Longmeadow’s middle and elementary schools Wednesday, the very schools she attended not long ago.
She took questions from the students and sang for them. Some students were so excited to see Brynn, they we’re moved to tears.
“The ones crying were so cute, it melted my heart they were so sweet, everyone is really supportive. It was nice to come back to the people that were voting for me and were cheering me on,” said Brynn.
Brynn also took this opportunity to give the students some words of wisdom.
Of the five performances, the sweetest one may have been performing for her brother Jack, it’s also where she got a chance to perform “Walk My Way’ on the piano for the first time.
“It was pretty cool because she got to come back to all that she used to have and it was kind of cool seeing her up on stage in front of all of my friends and me,” said her brother Jack.
We asked Brynn whats next. She told 22News she’s in the process of creating new music.
She just signed with manager Brandon Blackstone who just so happens to be Kelly Clarkson’s husband and manager, he also manages Blake Shelton.
In addition to working on new music, Brynn still has to finish her freshman year of high school.
