Car burst into flames after crashing into pole in Granville

Hampden County

GRANVILLE, Mass. (WWLP) – Granville firefighters were called to a fiery crash on Granby Road Wednesday night.

According to Granville Fire, a car struck a utility pole then burst into flames around midnight. By the time they got there, the driver had already gotten out of the car.

Granville firefighters were at the site of the crash for several hours. Crews were able to stabilize the pole and remove the vehicle from the area Thursday morning.
