Car catches on fire at Bell Street in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield firefighters kept a car fire from spreading to other vehicles and an apartment building, Thursday night.

A new car caught fire in the rear of Bell Street, after 8:30 p.m.

A police officer told 22News it did not appear to be suspicious.

No one was hurt.
