Car crashed into house in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A car struck a house on Page Boulevard in East Springfield during the early part of the commute Wednesday morning.

According to Springfield Police Department spokesman Ryan Walsh, a 22-year-old woman lost control of her car and jumped the curb before crashing into the front of a house in the 1300 block of Page Boulevard. The car struck the home at around 6:18 a.m.

Walsh said the driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center after the crash.

A flatbed truck towed the car away at around 6:45 a.m. Traffic is moving as normal through the area.

The house reportedly has siding damage, Walsh said.
