Celebrity bartending event raises money for the Western Massachusetts Boy Scouts

Hampden County

It’s the beginning of Spring and it’s being kicked off with a celebrity bartending event in Springfield.

Student Prince Restaurant celebrated the beginning of Spring and fundraised for the Western Massachusetts Boy Scouts Thursday night.

Mayor Domenic Sarno, Councilman Michael Fenton, and Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood were behind the bar.

Springfield residents also enjoyed a buffet, live music, and prize drawings.

John Maybury of East Longmeadow told 22News, “It’s just awesome you know, you work all day, you do things around the house, but when you can support a Boy Scout event like this or any event like this, it feels really good that we’re helping.”
