7 residents without a home after house fire in West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Seven residents are without a home following a house fire in West Springfield Saturday night.

West Springfield Deputy Fire Chief Bob Manchino told 22News seven residents are currently being assisted by the Red cross and no injuries were reported.

Manchino said the fire started around 6:00 p.m. in the garage of the home at 58 Thomas Dr. and worked its way inside. The West Springfield Fire Department is currently investigating the fire, but confirm it is not suspicious.

A 22News viewer sent in photos and was able to capture video of the fire.
