WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Crews worked to put out a fire on Sears Way in West Springfield Thursday morning.

The West Springfield Fire Department posted on Twitter that at around 8:30 a.m., firefighters were called to a fire at a commercial building located at Hayden Cooperation on 333 River Street. The building also contained large quantities of mixed chemicals and pressurized tanks. challenged

West Springfield Police closed River Street and Baldwin Street but have since reopened.

Sears Way was closed while the Fire Department investigated the cause. No injuries were reported.
