Dinosaur exhibit opens at Springfield Science Museum

Hampden County

Have you ever wondered what living, breathing dinosaurs were actually like?

You now have the chance to find out.

Dinosaur Discoveries is a new interactive exhibition at the Springfield Science Museum.

The family-friendly exhibit opened Saturday and reveals new dinosaur research by leading scientists from around the world. It features computer simulations and lifelike models.

“I’m really excited to see the new stuff that they offer at the museum. We actually come at least once or twice a month so it’s really cool to see the new stuff that they can put up and learn some new stuff for my little kiddos here,” said Ashley Blue of Springfield.

Dinosaur Discoveries is a traveling exhibition from the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

The exhibit will be on display at the Springfield Science Museum until May 12th.
