A special golf tournament was held in Westfield Sunday.
The Disabled American Veterans organization held their 2nd annual golf tournament at the Tekoa Country Club.
The event lasted all day with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. The golf tournament included 18 holes of golf, and a buffet dinner.
The organization has been around since 1920.
Gene McGreevy from the DAV, told 22News, “Our mission is to make sure every veteran lives a quality life with dignity.”
All proceeds from Sunday’s event will go to Westover Chapter 11 of the Disabled American Veterans organization.
