Driver life-flighted to hospital after car hit tree in Brimfield

BRIMFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One person was life-flighted to the hospital after a serious accident on East Hill Road Thursday.

Brimfield police told 22News emergency responders were called to East Hill Road after a car hit a tree. Brimfield EMS, fire and police departments responded to the accident.

Warren police and fire departments also assisted.

UMass Memorial Lifeflight took the driver to continue care after crews extricated them from the vehicle.

No word on the condition of the driver.

No additional information was immediately available but police are reminding drivers to wear their seatbelts at all times.
