Eversource Energy crews continue to work around the clock to restore power for thousands of customers who were affected by Monday’s aggressive windstorm.

According to the energy company, crews have been able to restore power to more than 85,000 homes and businesses since the storm hit Monday. The company says they are on track to restore power to most customers by late Tuesday night.

The energy company says repairs may take longer than expected for customers in the hardest hit areas, like Worthington, Cummington, Windsor, Westhampton, Southampton, and Conway.

“We recognize how difficult it is for our customers to be without electricity, especially during these cold days and nights and we continue to make progress restoring their power,” said Eversource Vice President of Electric Field Operations Doug Foley. “Our field crews and support staff have done a tremendous job working around the clock. They’re there for our customers when they’re needed most and are committed to working until every customer is restored.”
