The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts put on a Farm-to-Table dinner at E. Cecchi Farms in Feeding Hills Sunday evening.
The food was made using ingredients sourced directly from the farm.
The dinner was a way to engage in a discussion about the important role local farms play in feeding our neighbors in need — while also enjoying a multi-course dining experience.
Executive director Andrew Morehouse told 22News, “We try to raise awareness about the issue of hunger at these events and get people involved because we rely on the community for support to feed our neighbors in need.”
The food bank provides people facing hunger with the food they need to survive across all four counties of western Massachusetts.
