Fire put out at business on Main Street in West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – West Springfield firefighters were called to put out a fire at a business on Main Street Tuesday morning.

West Springfield Fire Chief William Flaherty told 22News the fire happened at the Anteka Health Products store in the 400 block of Main Street. He said there was a lot of smoke when firefighters got there, but that they were able to put out the fire quickly.

Flaherty told 22News the dance studio and sign business on each side of the health store were damaged by the smoke.

Firefighters were called to the fire shortly after 11:00 in the morning.
