The first-ever cannabis industry convention for western Massachusetts that was scheduled be held in Springfield Saturday has been postponed.
Growers, businesses and entrepreneurs from the cannabis industry will gather at the MassMutual Center on June 22 to the 23rd to learn more about the New England Cannabis market.
This event takes place in western Massachusetts will take place months after the opening of recreational marijuana shops in western Massachusetts including the most recent opening, Theory Wellness in Great Barrington.
Springfield is also working toward having a recreational marijuana shop open in the city.
The convention will cover topics ranging from smoking and vaping accessories, to accounting and insurance of cannabis.
