The homeless in Holyoke have a new place to get a hot cup of coffee and any warm clothing they could need.
Two retired sheriff’s department employees founded the For Love of Good Foundation to help the homeless.
Thursday, 22News caught up with them in these frigid temperatures, as they handed out coffee and clothing on Appleton Street.
Kevin Joslyn is one of the founders of the foundation.
“We do a lot of donations with clothing so we give the gloves, hats and scarves, jackets, number one requested item of the homeless, socks,” said Kevin Joslyn.
For the Love of Good is relatively new, founded just last October. They said they pride themselves on getting out on the streets of Holyoke, particularly during the coldest times of the year.
