Former Peter Pan Bus Lines headquarters demolished

Hampden County

The former Peter Pan Bus terminal in Springfield is being demolished.

Our 22News crew shot video of the former terminal on Main Street being torn down Tuesday morning. The company had been headquartered at their Main Street terminal since it was built in 1969.

Demolition of the old headquarters began in November to make way for a new Way Finders housing center.

The company started operating their bus lines out of Union Station after it was renovated in September of 2017.

Two months later it was announced the company would be move its headquarters to the third floor of Union Station.

The bus line officially moved their corporate headquarters to the station in August of 2018.
