A Ludlow mom has continued to raise funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society over the years in honor of her son.
Cleide Fernandes decided to start a fundraiser after her son was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when he was 17-years-old.
Friday evening, she hosted the 3rd annual M.S. Society Benefit at the Polish Club in Ludlow.
“He’s 20-years-old now and he’s doing really good but I know a lot of people out there are not doing as good as he is so I decided to do the benefit,” Fernandes told 22News.
All proceeds from Friday nights event will go directly to the M.S. Association.
