Dozens were painting with a purpose Monday night in East Longmeadow.
The Ronald McDonald House of Springfield held a Tipsy Paint Brush Night, where they painted glasses to raise money for the organization.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families who have children in need of care from local hospitals.
“We are there when the families need us when they want to be close to their children who are in the hospital,” said Volunteer Coordinator Skochii Polchlopek of the Ronald McDonald House. “We can accommodate 21 families and we work mostly with Baystate and Shriners and we also work with other families throughout the region who need us.”
Marios’ in East Longmeadow donated the space for the night.
All of the money raised will go directly to help children’s families, who do not pay to stay at the house.
