State Police and Holland Police officers keeping the news media away from whats being described as both a “public safety incident” and a “very active investigation” on Brimfield Road Friday evening.
State Police was alerted to some unspecified incident on Brimfield Road around 6 p.m. Police have closed the road from traffic and drivers are being advised to see alternative routes.
Jim Leydon of the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office confirmed with 22News that there is an ongoing police investigation at 254 Brimfield Road.
Holland Police Chief Bryan Haughy would only confirm with 22News that there is no threat to the public, but any information would have to come through the district attorney’s office.
Leydon said State Police connected to the Hampden County DA’s office are looking into the situation. No further details were immediately available.
