A new approach to promote community resources for youth has just been launched in honor of National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month.
The HASHPPAC committee hosted an event in Holyoke Thursday evening to unveil their new website. Their original website was developed four-years-ago.
The new revitalized version of the website is more comprehensive and user-friendly for teens and adults.
The goal of the website is to spread awareness about local agencies and the services they provide for youth.
“We’ve made huge strides over the course of the last five years and we are confident that we can keep that trend going,” said Cindy Miller, co-chair of HASHPPAC.
HASHPPAC’s mission is to develop community-based approaches to decrease teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections in Holyoke.
