Local rock music talent was showcased in Holyoke Sunday.
Seven New England based bands, and several solo artists, performed at the first annual Local Original Rock Music Festival.
The L.O.R.M. festival was held at the Waterfront Tavern and was created as a way to support the local rock music scene here in western Massachusetts.
People of all ages were invited to attend the all day festival which began at noon.
The festival was presented by promotion company, Get Real Media. Lisa Greenia from Get Real Media told 22News, “There’s really not a lot of venues that support or encourage original music, original rock music. You go closer to Boston and California and there is. So we’re trying to make it bigger here.”
