HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – People in Holyoke will gather later Thursday to mark the one year anniversary of Hurricane Maria, devastating the island of Puerto Rico.
The event will celebrate the history and resilience of Puerto Rico. It will start with a march to Holyoke City Hall, at 4:00 p.m.
There will then be music, art, and a documentary that tells the stories of families from Puerto Rico at Veterans Park, starting at 5:00 p.m.
