No one was hurt when Holyoke firefighters put out a fire early Wednesday morning.

According to Holyoke fire captain Kevin Cavagnac, at approximately 4 a.m. police and firefighters were called to 224 Lyman Street.

When police got to the residence they found a dumpster on fire that was against the side of a building with a convenience store on the first floor.

Police were unable to put out the fire before it grew to the outside wall of the store, however firefighters were able to put the flames out quickly when they got there.

No injuries were reported and all residents in the building were able to stay in their homes.
