HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Improving the health and safety of Holyoke’s vulnerable residents was the topic of discussion Thursday night.

The acting mayor and fire chief made the announcement about homes with seniors and people with disabilities.

The pair announced a new service called Knox Box,  which is a key holder placed outside an individual’s home, so first responders have easy access in case of an emergency.
