FEEDING HILLS, Mass. (WWLP) – The Agawam Fire Department has put out a house fire on 38 Liquori Drive in Feeding Hills on Tuesday.

Agawam Fire Chief Alan Sirois told 22News firefighters were called to the house fire around 4:33 a.m. When they arrived, they found the house fully on fire. Crews were able to put out the fire within 20 minutes of arrival.

One person was in the home at the time of the fire. They were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and are expected to be okay.

The home is considered a total loss. A 22News crew could see the home heavily damaged by the morning fire. The front, side and roof of the house were completely destroyed in the fire.

Crews from the Springfield, Westfield and Longmeadow Fire Departments were called in to help with the fire. The Chief thanks them for their efforts.

The Agawam Fire Department, State Fire Marshall’s Office, and Agawam Police Detective Bureau are investigating the fire at this time but Chief Sirois told 22News the fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
