Kids surprised with a day of fun at Six Flags New England

Hampden County

Twenty inner-city children spent the day creating memories that could last a lifetime.

The Mark E. Salomone Law Office in Springfield donated the money to sent these children from the North End of Springfield to their joyful day at Six Flags.

The children belong to the Gray House kid’s club, The Gray House is a social service agency that helps families in need. The children couldn’t wait to tell their families about this special day in their lives.

“I would tell them that I enjoyed it very much and that it was very special for me.” Juliany Lombay, a Kid’s Club member.

“This is something I wish I had when I was a child. I wish I had the kids club when I was growing up. The best experience I ever had in a job, it’s an amazing program.” Shyenne Vasquez, Kid’s Club Program Coordinator.

In addition to memories for the children, there will be additional food on the table for their families.

Six Flags provided free admission to everyone who brought groceries for The Gray House clients.

The Gray House helps feed nearly 200 North End neighborhood families every week.
