Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy hosts program for students not celebrating Christmas

Hampden County

Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy hosted their annual children’s program for students and the public.

The school holds an annual program for those in the community who don’t celebrate Christmas. With most business being closed for the holiday, the program gives children something to do.

The program’s theme this year was 11 Points of Kindness, which means every activity encouraged a kind deed.

Participant Hillel Kofsky told 22News, “So we are making cookies in this room in memory of the Pittsburgh attack and so basically we are making cookies one for yourself and one for a friend that you can give it too.”

Eleven Points of Kindness Day is in memory of the 11 victims of the attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
