SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield was the host of this month’s Mayor’s Association meeting.
The event was held at the MassMutual Center Wednesday morning. It allows community leaders to discuss issues and concerns with each other.
Mayor Domenic Sarno told 22News, the meeting is a good way to show off all Springfield has to offer.
“I’m very proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish here considering we had a tornado, a freak Nor’easter,” said Sarno. “Now we have the highest bond ratings in the city’s history. $4.1 billion in economic development.”
Mayors from all over Massachusetts were in attendance.
