A landmark Italian restaurant in Springfield’s Pine Point neighborhood will soon be changing hands.
The Liquori family opened the Napoli Restaurant on Bay Street 53 years ago.
Anthony Liquori and his mother Anna Marie told 22News, they’re looking for a buyer to continue serving the neighborhood.
“We’re tired after all these years,” said Anna Marie Liquori. “He’s tired and I’m growing tired, we don’t want but we have to.”
“It’s been a pleasure meeting a lot of people, the smile on a lot of people’s faces,” Anthony Liquori added. “Making people happy when they leave with a full belly.”
The Liquori’s hope that the next owner will keep the restaurant open.
