New Dr. Seuss book hitting the shelves in September

Hampden County

Dr. Seuss’s Horse Museum is an original manuscript found in the authors home. Young readers will join a friendly horse on a tour of an art museum. Random House publisher said the book is a celebration of art and “how we all see the world in different ways.”

The book will feature famous horse artwork from Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock and other artists.

Some classic Dr. Seuss characters will also make an appearance!

Readers will see their favorite Dr. Seuss characters like The Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, and Horton the Elephant in the book.

“It just gives kids another outlet,” Lannisha Taylor told 22News. “With so much going on in the world, I think its great they have another book to live on his legacy.”

The book will be released September 3, 28 years after Dr. Seuss’s death.
